Questions
Selling without a public listing — common questions
Is my car advertised anywhere public?
No. Your car is never posted on a public classifieds or marketplace site, and it does not appear in any public search. Only verified UAE dealers can review the details you submit, and only after they have been approved to use Carbai.
Will strangers get my phone number?
No. Dealers see the vehicle and photographs, but not your name, phone number or email address. Nobody outside the verified dealer group sees anything at all, and your details stay private right up until you decide to contact a dealer yourself.
Do I have to deal with enquiries and haggling?
No. Rather than fielding a stream of public enquiries and back-and-forth messages, you receive dealer offers together in one place and respond only to the ones that interest you. The rest you can simply leave.
Can I still change my mind?
Yes. There is no obligation to accept any offer or to sell the car. You decide whether to contact a dealer, and you are free to walk away at any point, for any reason.
What does it cost to sell this way?
Nothing for sellers. Submitting your car and receiving private dealer offers is free — there is no listing fee and no commission, whether or not you go on to sell.
Once I choose a dealer, what happens next?
From there you and the dealer deal with each other directly. They may inspect the car and confirm or adjust the offer, and the payment and paperwork are arranged between you — Carbai introduces you and then plays no part in the sale itself.
